Booking a Time Slot for Arriving Flights
Please book your Dublin Airport Transfer time for 30 minutes after your scheduled arrival time. For example, if you are due to land in Dublin at 14.00hrs, please book the transfer for 14.30hrs .
Booking a Time Slot for Hotel Transfers to Dublin Airport
In rush hour times 7am-10am and 4pm-7pm we advise of up to 1 hours travel from Dublin City to Dublin Airport. At all other times we advise of 30-40 minutes travel time. We would recommend for customers to check with their airlines what time to arrive at Dublin Airport for their flights.
Waiting Times at Dublin Airport
It is our experience that most of our customers enter the Arrivals Halls with their luggage within 1 hour of landing at Dublin Airport. Your driver will wait for you in the Arrivals Hall displaying your Family or Company name for one hour after the scheduled arrival time of your flight. If your flight is delayed and you do not arrive at the arrivals hall within 1 hour of its scheduled arrival time, your driver may not be able to continue with the transfer as it could impact on other bookings. This will be treated as a fail to arrive or no show. However, if the driver is able to wait they will wait. If the flight is severely delayed and you wish to book another transfer having arrived at Dublin Airport, please call the driver directly on the number provided on your booking email. In all cases it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that they are present at the specified location at the agreed-upon time.
No Show - Fail to Arrive
Your driver will wait for you at the Arrivals Hall in Dublin Airport for up to one hour after your scheduled arrival of your flight. They will also wait for you for 15 minutes after your pick-up time at your Hotel or Residence. Subject to availability, and payment, your driver may be able to wait longer for you due to a delay. However, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure they are ready to go at the agreed time. In the event of a delay the customer must make contact with their driver as soon as they realise there may be a delay in the transfer. The driver's number will be provided on the booking email. The driver will inform the customer if they can continue to wait with an upfront payment of an additional fee or the transfer will be cancelled without refund.
Payments
All Products - Services must be paid for in advance, unless otherwise agreed with DublinAirportTransfer.VIP in writing.
Credit Card Payments
In accordance with the Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2), credit card fees of 4% will only be applicable to non-EU cards.
Confirmations and Cancellations
All services paid for upfront will generate a confirmation email, we encourage customers to check the details of the transfer upon issue of this email. If you wish to cancel more than 24hrs before the time and date of the transfer, a full refund will issue in due course. We endeavour to make refunds no more than 7 days after cancellations. Cancellations of less than 24hrs notice will incur a full payment fee with no refunds issued. All Cancellations must be made in writing by email to enquiries@DublinAirportTransfers.VIP.
Alterations to Bookings
Any alterations to bookings must be made via email to enquiries@DublinAirportTransfers.VIP. Depending on availability, we will do our best to accommodate any changes. However, if we are unable to accommodate these changes due to unavailability we will offer a full refund. Any changes that request an extra service or different services which incurs extra work will not be confirmed until such extra payment has been received.
Vehicles Used for Transfers
Although all our fleet are Mercedes-Benz vehicles, we reserve the right to use similar type vehicles in times of unavailability or emergency use.
Baby Seats - Booster Seats
The use of these seats are not mandated under Irish Law in Small Public Service Vehicles, although for your peace of mind we can provide them as an extra service. Bookings for Baby seats and Booster seats must be made on the same day that your transfer booking has been made, and must be booked through our enquires email at enquiries@DublinAirportTransfers.VIP. Baby seats incur a cost of €20 per seat and Booster seats at a cost of €10 per seat. A confirmation email will be sent after these seats have been booked and paid for.
Transfer Plus+
This service is designed for passengers with a large amount of luggage or merchandise or for Bands or Artists travelling to and from Dublin Airport. We can accommodate a large amount of suitcases (50) for groups and other larger items such as flight cases on caster wheels which can be wheeled up a ramp into our weather-proof trailers. Maximum load is 1,000KG total and each item must not exceed 50KG for handling purposes.
